‘Steel House’, is a luxury hostel in central Copenhagen operated by Denmark’s largest hotel group, Arp Hansen. The hostel is aimed at the budget traveller and has a mixture of 4 and 6 bed ensuite dorms alongside ensuite double rooms. Facilities include bar, lounge, swimming pool, gym, workspace and cinema.

We were responsible for the interior design of of all public areas (2000sqm) creating the brand identity and all the graphic communication. We were able to strip the interior of the building to reveal its concrete frame which, alongside the exposed services and concrete and oak floors creates a strong industrial vernacular to link all of the zones.
