A 42-cover restaurant covering 2000m of space in a former industrial area of Copenhagen and is almost 25 times larger than the previous Alchemist.
Alchemist is the brainchild of Rasmus Munk, who aims to delight diners to 50 courses over 6 hours. From a cavernous warehouse, previously serving as the former set-building workshop of the Royal Danish Theatre, we have divided this huge space up into distinctive areas providing a dramatic backdrop to an extraordinary culinary journey.
Most of the dining takes place in the 18m diameter dome made from 200 tonnes of steel providing a 360 degree visual experience. The journey ends in the bar area above the dome. Other notable features include the glass floor overlooking a three storey wine cellar.
Alchemist launched to a blaze of media interest from titles including, Vanity Fair, Bloomberg and the FT.
