We were invited to design a food hall and retail market as part of a major regeneration project in Grimsby in the North of England.

The scheme involves the development of a new cinema, other leisure provision, retail and at the heart of the space a new social hub. This hub is focused on a food hall and retail market which will function as the vibrant heart and soul of Freshney Place. This will provide a great example of how F&B can be used as a magnet to draw people into the town centre, bringing people together, increasing dwell time, repeat visits and the social and commercial benefits that come with that.

From shell and core space, this project involved space planning, interior design of the retail and F&B space and design of the individual units.

Not only is this a food hall design project it is also a major place making project in an area of the UK that has previously been neglected and we are proud to have been involved in someway towards its recovery.
